Schoolhouse Docs (SHD) is our series of fun and educational documentaries for the whole family. SHD films have been rated for students by Missoula educators and offer a variety of age-appropriate and perspective-widening themes, bringing non-fiction film to the next generation. This online and in-person program provides out-of-school family fun and educational opportunity to a wide range of audience members, introducing young people to global stories and the filmmakers that bring them to light. Schoolhouse Docs screenings are $5 for in-person or online screenings.

Our 2023 festival line-up will be announced January 2023.

Special thanks to the dedicated educators on the BSDFF ratings committee!
